chickens wait in coops;

with cones of laughter;
a wooden, name board
waits on the door
with timings,
unstuck;
a deaf maid with brooms
waits on a litter of deaf talk;
deaf lady attendants
wait on phones;
in his private chamber,

taps deaf ears with a tuning fork;
scribbles reports;
